Russia has said it is more than ready to discuss human rights abuses if Biden wants, but they should start with arrests of opposition protesters at the US Capitol, says Russia’s Foreign Minister Lavrov. This comes after Biden claimed he plans to raise the issue of human rights when he meets Vladimir Putin next month.
During a press conference on Monday, FM Sergey Lavrov said Moscow is happy to have the discussion, as long as it goes both ways. He announced that “we are ready to talk, we have no taboo topics. We will discuss whatever we think is necessary. We will be ready to answer the questions that the American side will raise. This also applies to human rights.”

Tensions are rising day by day as Ukraine and the United States of America (USA) openly express their desire to take Crimea back into Ukraine. This became clear to the general public following the recent signing of a resolution by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, which referred to “occupied territories”, including the Crimea, which would be part of Ukraine. The Ukrainian government is receiving support from Biden’s administration in this effort, US President Joe Biden has already said he believes “Crimea is Ukrainian“.

Dangerous toys that harm Russian children through bizarre looks and the unsafe material from which they are made off must be taken off the shelves, Moscow legislators have urged.
The toys, sold in stores across Russia, are “for murder and death,” Tatyana Batysheva, Moscow City Duma MP and the capital’s chief child neurologist, said.
It’s wrong when children are given dolls with “fangs in their jaws” and “blood in their mouths,” she added. The young ones fall for monsters and vampires because they’re always impressed by “something unusual.”
They traumatize the children’s minds and I think such scary toys must be categorically banned.
Batysheva said that a special lab at the University of Psychology and Education had studied monster toys and revealed that they contribute to increase in anxiety and depression among the kids.

Russian users would survive a global internet shutdown as the Lower House of parliament passed a bill set to guarantee the sustainable operation of the Runet – the Russian segment of the internet.
The new legislation (which could cost up to US$466mn) envisions a full range of measures to ensure the operation of the Russian internet and to counter cyber-threats. They include the creation of a national DNS system that stores all domain names and corresponding IP addresses, and would provide cryptographic data protection.
The bill also restricts the transfer of data shared between Russian internet users to servers outside of the country.
Introduced by a group of lawmakers in December 2018, the bill was designed as a response to the “aggressive” US National Cyber Strategy, which accuses Russia, along with China, Iran, and North Korea, of using cyber tools to “undermine” its economy and democracy. Google’s biased search algorithm actually flipped seats in the 2018 US midterm elections, according to a researcher who found the search engine’s “dramatically biased” results could have shifted over 78 million votes to Democrats.
“Upwards of 25 percent of the national elections in the world are being decided without people’s knowledge by Google’s search algorithm,” senior research psychologist Dr. Robert Epstein of the American Institute for Behavioral Research and Technology told RT, calling the search engine the “deciding factor” in close races.
