US health officials have been warning about a new generations of fast-spreading, drug-resistant diseases proliferating, allegedly thanks to climate change, and it appears they have identified the first candidate. What? Only one? No doubt they can now look forward to a lifetime of grants and salaries from the politically correct Establishment Academia. But once we remove politics from the issue, the science is fairly clear, the earth is cooling.

Genetically distinct versions of the fungus have sprung up simultaneously in India, South Africa and South America, perplexing researchers in the process.
