To: David Stanton, TD, Minister of State in the Department of Justice and Equality, responsible for Equality, Immigration and Integration.
Dear Sir, you requested alternatives in your interview on Clare FM regarding Lisdoonvarna. Whilst these questions from a devil’s advocate might seem brash to you, the tide is turning and you will soon have to answer this kind of question to a populist movement…
Firstly, it is a well known fact that we can house and care for 12 migrants / asylum seekers for the cost of every one in Ireland or Europe, if we do so in North Africa or the Middle East, closer to their home countries.
Over $600 MILLION was sent out of Ireland to Nigeria in 2011 – imagine the refugee centre that could build in North Africa! The president of Nigeria himself has said Nigerians who had joined the migrant exodus to Europe were doing so purely for economic reasons rather than because they were in danger and their reputation for crime has made them unwelcome. Are we suckers?
Why are we not housing them out of State? Are we happy to deny 11 out of every 12 migrants a chance to a better life?
Who are we to say who gets to win the lottery of a better life in Ireland?
Secondly, this issue would not be so severe if you actually deported failed asylum seekers and migrants!
In 2018, Only 5% of Italy’s 630,000 migrants were recognised as genuine refugees!
In 2016, only 12.9% of asylum cases in Ireland were approved and in 2015, 3,350 failed asylum seekers had lived in Ireland for over five years. There are 3,350 places right there as 40% of people living in direct provision in 2016 had deportation orders!
Who is funding all of this? Houses were bought in New Ross to house 65 refugees / migrants. Everything was done in secret under the cloak of “it is not public taxpayer funds, so there is no accountability required” – this according to one TD in Wexford. So were councilors able to sell their own third or fourth properties to the state? Were commissions paid? Etc. Etc.
Are these funds from an EU slush fund?
Thirdly, the act of offering Irish Businesses and Property Owners, like Marcus White, Coin to sell out their Kith, Kin and Country, DESPITE there being a viable alternative out of State, is disgraceful to say the least. It certainly begs the question if there is an ulterior motive?
To say that the locals have no rights to say no is totalitarian to say the least!
To use racebaiting, or false concocted accusations of racism, as a cudgel to guilt trip and force local Irish residents in the very heart of Ireland to accept the yoke of “integration” and conquest is even more disgraceful.
You might think I am exaggerating, but why are these people being given a path to citizen ship? Is there no intention of returning them back to their country of origin to help rebuild their country after hostilities end, as has mostly occurred in Syria?
Is Ireland stealing talent and labour from 3rd world countries that badly need them just to boost the profits of Oligarchs, who fund their political campaigns?
Why are refugees / migrants given full EU rights and allowed to compete in little towns which are already hard hit by poverty and unemployment? You know they will undercut local wages or even work unofficially and still draw welfare. Or is that the idea? To swell your donations from corporate donors who want lower wages and more obedient consumers?
Lisdoonvarna was just the start of the pushback of the People… Do you want to force Ireland into an IRExit? Why does the EU not take its foot off the enforced mass migration throttle? (Frontex is an EU operation). Despite this single issue leading to its own destruction they barge on unrelenting? WHY?
